EIGHTEEN members of the Stenhousemuir FC Norwegian Supporters Club visited Ochilview last Saturday, and brought with them a welcome present for the second division outfit. A sponsorship deal will see the Ochilview stand renamed "The Norway Stand" for the next two years. Terje Erikson said: "We are very happy to have been associated with the team over the past ten years. There have been the up and downs of winning the Challenge Cup, relegation and promotion during that time and we've enjoyed the experiences. "Every time we come to Ochilview we are treated very well and we are all delighted to mark our anniversary with this sponsorship." The deal - thought to be worth around £5,500 - marks ten years since the Nordic branch was set up. Warriors Chairman Mike Laing said: "We are delighted with this latest display of commitment from our Norwegian friends. They have helped us out through thick and thin and have been a great support over the last ten years.'' 'Muir vice-chairman David Reid added: "They have been magnificent, especially during the difficult time we have had over the last couple of years and I hope the ovasion they received when they took to the park on Saturday shows how much our supporters appreciate their commitment."
